There will not be any visits to your premises by
BT or Xoocafe engineers (unless SDSL services are
required). A router or ADSL modem will have to be
provided by you or can be purchased from Xoocafe

ADSL (Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line)
Utilises existing copper phone lines to bring
high speed, 'always on' connection with a fixed
annual charge.
SDSL (Symmetrical Digital Subscriber
Line)
Utilises over one pair of copper phone lines.
SDSL and ADSL are different as SDSL has identical
upstream rates as its downstream rates (symmetrical)
whereas ADSL tends to have a smaller upstream
rate to its downstream rate (asymmetrical). |
